Hi, my name is Tati, and I am the founder of Mweezi Birthing. Since becoming a certified full-spectrum doula in April 2024, I've had the honor of supporting in six births. My services have included both virtual and in-person support, and I am passionate about serving the black and brown community.
Doula work is more than just a profession for me—it's a calling. I believe that every woman deserves compassionate and respectful care, especially during such a critical time as pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Unfortunately, our healthcare system often overlooks and mistreats black and brown women, and I became a doula to help change that narrative. I believe that life begins at conception and that the way a mother is treated during and after her pregnancy is crucial for both her well-being and that of her baby.
At Mweezi Birthing, I offer a full spectrum of services, from emotional and spiritual support to practical advice on nutrition and wellness. I also provide postpartum care and meal services, recognizing the importance of nurturing both the mother and baby holistically.
Growing up in the Bronx, I am deeply connected to my community and proud to serve all five boroughs. My mission is to provide the best possible care and support, helping mothers and families navigate this beautiful journey with confidence and peace.
