Hi Mamas and soon-to-be Mamas,
I’m Sarah, and I have a deep love for everything related to babies and birth. While it might seem unusual that I don’t have children of my own and have never been pregnant, I truly believe that this gives me a unique perspective and dedication to supporting those who are bringing new life into the world.
From a young age, I was captivated by the birthing process. I remember sneaking glances at "A Baby Story" on TLC long before I was old enough to fully understand it. That early fascination has only grown stronger over the years. Today, my passion is not just about the wonder of birth but also about making it a positive experience for everyone, especially those in communities of color where maternal mortality rates are alarmingly high.
As a woman of color myself, I’m deeply committed to advocating for those who might not have a strong voice and ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. My mission is to ease the fear surrounding birth and to offer comfort and support to every client, regardless of their background.
I’m based in Charlotte, NC, but I also offer virtual support, so no matter where you are, I can be there for you. I’m still learning and growing in my role as a doula, but I’m confident in my ability to provide compassionate care, protection, and advocacy. I hope you’ll consider me as a partner on this incredible journey. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
